TANZANIA 2000 BEGUN IN 1998         Update From Africa

PURPOSE: To build Bible Schools in Arusha and Moshi and a Preacher Training School in Kisonga, for the purpose of strengthening the congregations, enabling them to be self-supporting and self-propagating, and to train Africans in Africa to teach other Africans the Word of God. We have made a 20-year commitment to accomplish this work.

We are accomplishing this task through the Bible Schools, educating and training the congregations to understand and execute Gods Word.

In addition through the Andrew Connally School of Preaching (ACSOP) we are training evangelists to go out and teach God’s Word.

We are using the printed page in our “Safari For Souls” campaigns each June to teach literally hundreds of thousands of the lost, through in-home Bible Studies, tracts and Bible Correspondence Courses.

In four short years God has blessed our hands with a growth from two congregations with a total membership of thirty souls to thirty-one congregations with eight hundred members meeting every Lord’s Day.

We have in addition graduated our first classes from the Arusha Bible School and Andrew Connally School of Preaching. Graduation ceremonies were conducted on March 15, 2003.
